Professional Mover / Crew Member
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal
Location: Edmonton & Surrounding Areas (Alberta First Moving)
Are you hardworking, physically fit, and looking for an active job where no two days are the same? We are looking for dependable Movers to join our growing team. You will work alongside experienced crew members to safely load, transport, and unload residential and commercial customer belongings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely wrap, pad, pack, and protect furniture, appliances, and fragile items.
- Efficiently load and unload moving trucks while maximizing space and security.
- Provide exceptional, friendly customer service on every job site.
- Communicate effectively with crew leads and clients.
What We Are Looking For:
- High physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (75 lbs+) consistently.
- A positive, punctual, and reliable attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Previous moving, warehousing, or heavy lifting experience is an asset, but paid training is provided for the right candidate.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop is preferred.
Lead Moving Driver (Class 5 / Non-CDL)
Type: Full-Time
Location: Edmonton & Surrounding Areas (Alberta First Moving)
We are seeking an experienced, safety-conscious Moving Driver to take charge of our trucks and crew. In this role, you will safely navigate moving vehicles through Edmonton and across Alberta, lead a team of movers, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and maneuver commercial moving trucks (up to 26 ft box trucks) in various weather and traffic conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Lead and direct crew members on-site to ensure safe, efficient packing, loading, and unloading.
- Manage customer paperwork, billing details, and maintain professional communication.
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid class license (Standard Class 5 in Alberta) with a clean driving abstract.
- Minimum 1+ years of commercial driving experience (moving truck, delivery truck, or similar large vehicle experience preferred).
- Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and a customer-first mindset.
